Payments can also be made via PayPal or Debit/Credit Cards.All prices shown are in Australian Dollars and include GST. All purchase transactions and shipping costs will be calculated and processed in Australian Dollars.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Orders sent within Australia and posted using Express Post via Australia Post, with signature required on delivery. When your order is dispatched, you will be provided with a tracking number, which can be checked at auspost.com.au/mypost/track/. Shipping within Australia is free.International orders are sent by Australia Post Registered mail. Please note international orders may attract customs duty and taxes. As the recipient you are liable for all import duties, customs, and local sales taxes.

Therefore, we recommend that you read our Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase, and that you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns and repairs and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.Consumer Guarantees and Your Rights under the Australian Consumer Law refer to Consumer Guarantees for further information.We also recommend that you immediately inspect any goods that we deliver to you to ensure you are completely satisfied with the goods, including that they are of acceptable quality, and match the description we have provided to you. FAULTS
Our jewellery, like any other jewellery can be fine and delicate, and should therefore be handled and worn with care. Please see our Care guide for additional information. Normal wear and tear of jewellery items is not considered a manufacturing fault. If you feel a piece of jewellery is faulty, please contact us at [email protected]. The piece will be assessed in line with our warranty guidelines.
PHOTOGRAPHY
We take great care to ensure that our photographs represent an accurate representation of the actual product, both in colour and dimensions. Where possible, jewellery will be photographed on a body to represent real life comparison. We can provide more accurate measurements if required.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Avoid wearing your jewellery in mineral baths, spas, and swimming pools, as the salt water and chlorine may affect the metal finish. Remove your jewellery before exercising or prior to bedtime. Excessive perspiration and body oils can sometimes surface tarnish the piece. We discourage against excessive exposure to moisture, some types of chlorine and other chemicals as they can discolour silver and even gold. Commercial jewellery cleaners and dips are usually safe to use on most jewellery. Refer to instructions provided with these products, and if in doubt, always contact us.When stored, keep items of jewellery apart. Never wear jewellery while gardening, as abrasives in the dirt will damage your precious jewellery. Never spray perfume directly on pearls and porous stones such as turquoise. We provide free checking and cleaning of jewellery bought from us. Please call for an appointment.
WARRANTY | RETURNS | REPAIRSRETURNS POLICY
Free 30-Day Returns & 60 Day Resizes (Australia only)We offer complimentary 30 day returns on all items bought from our online catalogue, so that you can make sure your purchase is just right. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 30 days for an exchange or full refund. For eligible orders, our return, exchange, and resize policy timelines begin when your purchase is available for shipment or pickup.For Australian customers, we also offer one complimentary resizing for our standard ring styles with free shipping back to you, but this must be within the possible sizing range. Sizing range is specified on all available rings in our website. Outside of the 60-day complimentary resize period, rings can be resized for a fee when within the recommended sizing range. If you need to file a claim for a resize, please contact us at [email protected] note that returned items must be in unworn condition and accompanied by all original documentation.The following orders are nonreturnable: fine jewellery items that have been personalized (such as nameplates and engravings); rings that have been modified or resized; items that have previously been exchanged and custom designed jewellery.If you wish to collect your jewellery item from our studio, our 30 day return/exchange period begins on the date that your order is available for pick up.
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM PURCHASED FROM OUR ONLINE STORE
1. Obtain the Return Shipping Authorization: Contact us by email [email protected].
2. Packing your order: For all returns and exchanges, include all original packaging and accompanying materials, including the packing slip and all diamond certificates. For resizes, do not include original certificates and accompanying materials. For security reasons, do not write jewellery, diamonds or other related words anywhere on the package.
3. Shipment. Place the ring/jewellery box inside the shipping box. If you do not have the original packaging, wrap the ring/jewellery box in bubble wrap. Use an Australia Post Express Post bag or box, with signature on delivery tracking option. The tracking number should be forwarded to us. All goods returned for refund or exchange should be sent to:

REFUND PROCESS
After we receive the returned order, we will inspect and verify the condition of the item. Returns take approximately five business days to process upon receipt of the item. Refunds will be issued via the method of payment used in the original purchase. Michel Vermande Jeweller is not responsible for differences in foreign currency refund amounts due to exchange rate fluctuations between the time of purchase and refund. Michel Vermande Jeweller is not responsible for any foreign exchange or other fees that are charged by the customer’s financial institution. For all credit card refunds, please allow one monthly billing cycle for your credit to appear. If you have any questions about our return procedure, please contact us at Michel Vermande Jeweller. We do not refund the shipping cost on any returned orders. Only the cost of the actual items returned will be refunded.
WARRANTY | ONLINE STORE PRODUCTS
Michel Vermande Jeweller covers the cost of reasonable repairs under normal wear for the first two years after purchase. Normal wear is defined by wear that is in line with the detailed instructions in our Care Guidelines. If a piece shows signs of improper care or is damaged in a way resulting from something other than normal wear, i.e accidental damage, we will repair the piece at cost. An estimate of the repair will be given in advance for approval by the customer. In the case that a piece requires repair, customers will be responsible for the return shipping costs.After 2 years, we will repair pieces at cost. An estimate of the repair will be given prior to the repair for approval by the customer.Please note that if any other jeweller undertakes work on one of our pieces, including resizing or repairs, our warranty will be voided. We strongly recommend returning pieces to us for repairs and resizes, we do not take any responsibility for repairs or resizes undertaken by other jewellers, or for the piece once it has been resized or repaired by another jeweller.
WARRANTY | BESPOKE PRODUCTS
Custom designed pieces are provided with a 2 year warranty. This warranty is valid provided the below conditions are adhered to:Pieces are strictly cared for and worn in line with our detailed care and wear guidelines. Pieces are not worked on by any jeweller other than michelvermande.com.au for any services including cleaning. If any other jeweller undertakes work on one of our pieces, including resizing or repairs, our warranty will be voided. We strongly recommend returning pieces to us for repairs and resizes, we do not take any responsibility for repairs or resizes undertaken by other jewellers, or for the piece once it has been resized or repaired by another jeweller.Pieces are returned to Michel Vermande Jeweller at least annually for servicing. This servicing process is complimentary and includes a full polish and clean of the piece, as well as checking/tightening of stones and assessment of claws and bands for any damage or weaknesses.
As is the nature of fine jewellery, there is always the possibility of accidental damage, which is why insurance is always strongly recommended. Insurance ensures that anything that is outside of the Michel Vermande Jeweller warranty would be covered in full. In the case that accidental damage which is outside of our warranty coverage occurs, we will always assist with any repair that is required.In the case that a piece requires repair or servicing, customers will be responsible for return shipping costs. For international clients, it is important you maintain any import documentation from the time of purchase, so that if you ever need to return your piece for servicing or repair, this will be exempt from further duties and taxes.Bespoke pieces are eligible for one complimentary resize within the first 12 months. After the first resize, any further resizing will be charged for and is quoted on a case by case basis.REPAIR PROCESSPlease contact us should you need to have your piece assessed for repair or resized.When sending your piece, ensure that all your details, including your original order number and return address are included. If you are returning a piece for resize, please ensure the new size is included and has been accurately measured. We recommend using a courier service with full insurance to return your piece. Please ensure the shipment requires a signature on delivery and the piece is adequately packed and padded. We will not accept any liability if the piece is damaged in transit due to poor packaging. We will let you know once we have received your piece, to give you an indication of any predicted cost involved, as well as an expected turnaround timeframe.For queries regarding repairs and resizes, please contact Michel Vermande Jeweller.Production time Items shown in this website are normally in stock and available for immediate dispatch unless marked as “SOLD”. If you are interested in an item that has been sold, I can usually manufacture a new one as close as possible to the original, unless it is described as a “ONE OFF” item in the description. Remakes of sold stock and custom orders are usually produced in 3 to 4 weeks, depending on complexity and availability of materials used.
